LITERATURE AND SOURCES

Scientific Publications

Use primary literature to understand what was studied, in which model, and with what limitations. A paper is evidence about its methods and findings; it is not product-specific documentation or personal medical advice.

Search biomedical literature

Search biomedical citations and abstracts, then review the full paper and its methods.

Review study design

Check model, comparator, sample size, endpoints, methods, and stated limitations.

Separate evidence types

Cell and animal findings do not establish human safety or effectiveness.

A careful reading checklist

  • Confirm the exact compound, sequence, formulation, and route studied.
  • Distinguish in vitro, animal, and human evidence.
  • Review methods, sample size, endpoints, conflicts, and limitations.
  • Check whether later studies replicate or challenge the finding.
  • Do not generalize a paper to another product, batch, or use.

Official regulatory information

Regulatory status and safety information can change. Consult current primary agency sources and qualified counsel for product-specific questions.
